Pregnancy is your body demonstrating what it’s capable of, incredible strength, change and growth. Yoga is an effective, yet gentle way to explore and support these awesome changes in your body.
Our prenatal workshop is appropriate for any level of student and is geared toward expectant parents and those preparing for pregnancy. Each session will provide you with tools to create the healthiest possible pregnancy for mom and baby. We’ll explore relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and yoga poses to strengthen and tone your changing body, as well as relieve tension and common aches and pains. In addition yoga practice, our class includes discussion, time for questions, and to connect and we create “sangha” (the yoga word for community)!
The workshops are designed to accommodate for the needs of everyone who shows up! It builds upon the Pulling Down the Moon community, by not focusing on the treatment of ailments but on the creation of health that honors the mind and heart as well as the body.
