Hike on over to the Highland Park Public Library to get a sneak preview and “Orienteering” session about our new program for kids 6-14: Library Scouts!
Kids who sign up for Library Scouts will earn badges, learn new skills or strengthen skills they already have, and have a great time at the Library. This spring, we’ll pilot the program with three “Trails” kids can follow to earn badges: Bookcraft, Stitchcraft, and 3D Printcraft. As we develop the program, we’ll offer more and more Trails to help kids explore their interests, make and do interesting things, and share their new skills and knowledge with others!
Come learn about the program so you can spread the word to the kids in your life, become a community partner and help us develop new Trails, or volunteer to help with programs, or just learn about our exciting new program for kids. We’ll launch the Library Scouts programming for kids on Saturday, February 27th. Please note that theJanuary 29 event is just for adults.
Feel free to pass this invitation along to any other organizations or community members you think might be interested!
