We invite you to celebrate the remarkable women in your life with a special Mother’s Day class featuring a vinyasa
flow-focused practice paired with tranquil sound therapy.
Please join us Sunday, May 14 from 9:45am – 11am as acclaimed sound therapist Kenny Kolter joins Jenny Guzon-Bae for a gratitude-filled flow and gong meditation that will leave you feeling transformed, revitalized, and honored.
Kenny has facilitated more than 1,400 sound therapy workshops throughout the country, incorporating gongs, drums, rattles, Tibetan bowls, chimes and various other instruments to elevate mindfulness and practice. His unique work is focused on providing participants a chance to escape the daily grind, meditate, pray, simply rest, or go within.
He is also one of only a handful of sound therapists worldwide to play the gong in a therapeutic environment for patients in clinical settings. He’s received two consecutive contracts with the state of Illinois to provide sound and vibrational awareness sessions on a weekly basis at Illinois’ largest mental health facility in Elgin. He also led regular weekly sound therapy and drum circle sessions at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion. Most recently Kenny played the gong for 50 inmates at The Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Worth.
Jenny, who is also leading the workshop, strives to give her students a yoga practice that is both vigorous and calming. She pairs the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga while adjusting instruction to the level of each student. Her intention is that students leave her class feeling uplifted, peaceful, and empowered so they can carry those feelings into every aspect of their lives.
We hope you can join us for this special practice as we honor the extraordinary women in our lives.
