Food Truths and Myths

April 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

We live in an age of fake news and alternative facts, many surrounding health and wellness. In this ‘Food Truths and Myths’ series, Registered Dietitian Courtney Mayszak, RDN, LDN, will measure the headlines against the science. Focusing on popular wellness trends and topics, we’ll weigh the pros and cons of GMOs, discuss the validity of fads like cleanses and detoxes, and compare the benefits of popular diet regimens like Paleo and Whole30. Participants will leave knowing how to read between the headlines and flesh out the facts. The science may surprise you!
