Make a donation to the School Supply Charity Drive and receive 15% off purchases
HIGHLAND PARK, IL (JULY, 2016) — Beanstalk Toyland & Bookstore in Downtown Highland Park is partnering with Families Helping Families to support the School Supply Charity Drive benefitting low-income students at six Waukegan-area schools. During July and August, Beanstalk is serving as a donation drop-off site for new school supplies, and is offering 15% off all in-store purchases.
“This school supply charity drive is the perfect opportunity to give back and help families and children in need in surrounding communities,” says Pam Hillman, owner of Beanstalk Toyland & Bookstore. “We’re very proud to support Families Helping Families and play a role in ensuring these kids have everything they need to head back to school!”
The community is encouraged to donate new back-to-school supplies, such as notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, backpacks, and any other essentials and drop them off to Beanstalk Toyland & Bookstore throughout July and August. Be sure to pick up a few extra supplies on your next back-to-school shopping trip and help a child in need!
