I’m a 26 year customer of State Farm. I was hit by another State Farm driver. 12k in damages to my vehicle. “Preferred “ body shop has been a nightmare. Vehicle was returned to me not totally repaired at State Farm’s direction after a month and I’m forced to drive it on damaged wheels and tires that I have safety concerns about. Claims manager denied the existence of diminished value. Basically I’ve been told to pound sand. Truck is back into the body shop to repair substandard work for the third time. Dumbfounded by the treatment I’ve received from State Farm but they are quick to draft monthly payments from my account.

This company is crap. 6 year customer and I’m involved in a rear end accident while parked. Suffered multiple injuries. First they Interrogate me under oath for over an hour asking me ridiculous questions, now I find out from my attorney that they’re refusing to pay my PIP claims. I’ve paid this company a ton of money and this is how you get treated, this company is garbage!!!! going back to nationwide.

Wow! Reading all these comments scares me to have StateFarm! I have been moved from agents twice now cause StateFarm can’t seem to keep their agents. The last one they moved me to is too far away! When I called to demand they change to a local agent I was told they can’t cause they need customers consent. Well you didn’t have my consent on any of the last moves! Guess I will be switching to AAA!

BEWARE OF JESSICA (QCUL) appeaser... She did an appraisal on my truck without calling me or allowing me to be there to open the truck to show the damage. I did not go to work waiting all day and never told me. She did not even use the correct details to my truck. I do not own an XLT short bed. They used mostly aftermarket parts, and junk yard parts from companies will less than 3 stars and from racist companies per the comments. Customer service is 40-60. 40 percent ok to good and 60 percent worst on the planet. Find another company. dont insure with them they will only rip you off and treat you like you are worthless. Read the comments below and you will see... From a retired military member the comment from above would be fine from anyone except State Farm because they do not uphold that saying.

My parents are retirees living in Florida. They have been paying on a long-term care policy for more than 20 years. Within the past 12 months, as my parents reach an age where using this policy could happen, State Farm has doubled....DOUBLED that premium to a cost that is now not affordable to them. This is so immoral!! Does anyone at State Farm care about such shameful actions?!?! You people, everyone of you, are absolutely disgraceful. I cannot believe this is not illegal. I intend to spread this information on every social site I can find regarding State Farm!!

State farm is nothing but crooks

You are the worst insurance company ever . I have been a loyal client for 8 years, then when my vehicle gets destroyed on 4 th of July and I need my insurance company you screw me ! You total loss my vehicle, won’t pay off my vehicle-state I owe 10,000, need to submit paperwork on my own and the kicker I have 5 days to get out of my loaner or it’s out of my own pocket. Sure State Farm should be a breeze . I’m only 8 months pregnant with no vehicle and 10,000 in the hole . Thanks !

State Farm is a JOKE! My fiancée was on his way to the beach and was on the interstate and ran over a transfer truck tire causing massive mechanical damage to the truck to where it had to be towed! State Farm said since there was “no physical proof” that it is was “in a collision”.... they denied his claim! He has Been with them for over 10 years.... switching ASAP

State Farm you are horrible!!!!!!!! I just got a letter from the DMV stating my husbands license is going to be suspended because his car was not insured. So I called, office has no clue tells me I have to call the agent. YOU DROPPED OUR POLICY WITHOUT TELLING US. My husband has been driving his car for almost 3 weeks UNINSURED with our son because of you IDIOTS!!!! Also, when someone hit me years ago the office put in the wrong VIN# and I was almost fined because of it. In 10 years we used towing twice and they cancelled our towing on our policy. THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE AND I WARN YOU TO PAT ATTENTION AND LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE OF BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR 10 YEARS AND ONLY 2 FENDER BENDERS. GET BETTER INSURANCE BEFORE YOU GET BURNED. #Statefarm

It's amazing to me how State Farm commercial states that they are there...You know like a good neighbor, well I beg to differ since the tree fell on my Mom's home she has been given the run around, the okeydoke, and she has bamboozled. She is a senior citizen, rest for my 92 year old grandmother who is now living in a house with a leaking roof and no one signs of relief. State Farm has given them the run around about properly repairing her home after storm damage, costing her thousands of dollars. They have consistently refused to return calls, and when she happens to get someone on the phone they make promises they never intend to keep. I NEED SOME HELP.. STATE FARM AKA MY GOOD NEIGHBOR....not so in my book I guess it is time to leave the neighborhood.

Apparently, my agent doesn't work for State Farm anymore, although his face and number are still on the website. No matter what time I call, the office is closed. I never get a response to voicemails or emails. On, July 7, I took my car to Safelite. They fixed my windshield but broke my windshield wiper arm. I have been in conversation, via private message with a CS at Safelite everyday since late night of July 7, who keeps promising me that someone from the Thornton Rd location will call me with a time to bring my car back in so they can fix the wiper arm.No one from that location has called me yet.

I’m shocked at State Farm’s practices. I hadn’t had a homeowners claim in 20 YEARS until a few months ago when my RV which was in a secure facility was broken into (nothing I could’ve done to prevent it) State Farm paid the claim in a very timely manner, but that payment was quickly followed up with a nasty letter from them “because in 20 years I had A CLAIM!” Soooooo, let me get this straight, State Farm wants me to just pay them year after year after year.....but NEVER have a claim??? And when you do have a claim you’re SCOLDED and warned against ever having another one???? What a joke!

What does all the above have to do with the Fourth of July, Independence Day??? Save all your gripes for another day.

State Farm double charged my account and now is attempting to issue a refund... it took me half a day to get them to decide who needed to issue it and now they’re saying it won’t be back for 3-5 business days. They literally took my only grocery and gas money, because I pay my bills first. Very disappointed in their customer service as well, as soon as I get my next check I’m looking for a new company.

Does anyone have the corporate contact information to file a complaint on the treatment of their personnel..

I'm trying to get through to technical support and I cannot get past the partner offers. Extremely inconvenient. The number I called as 800-410-1660 as listed on the website.

So, the walls of our camper have water damage or something. They are soft and are starting to bow out a bit. Well, I submit an insurance claim so that we can get them fixed before they get worse. Because after all, I do pay for insurance for it and we obviously don’t know how to fix that kind of stuff by ourselves. They tell me earlier to take it to the RV place and have them do an estimate and send them pictures. Ok, easy enough. So, I just get a phone call from State Farm conducting an “investigation” because they are not sure if this is a legit claim. Ummmmmm…….what? Are they trying to call me a liar? So, I have to take 20 minutes out of my work day for a “recorded phone interview” about how it exactly occurred and then they will decide if it is covered and still go get the estimate and pictures that I was planning on doing in the first place. I mean, I don’t sit and keep watch on the camper 24 hours a day and we don't use it often, so I can’t tell them exactly when or how the walls got wet. I can only tell you what I see and when I saw it. Thank you, State Farm for making me feel like a criminal that had to be interrogated. Heaven forbid I put a claim in for the broken awning, I better just suck that one up!

Always great to have insurance that has your back. Daughter gets hit by another driver from behind but yet the insurance co. I have STATE FARM for 40 years and I get different answers from each representative! I am told that I can dispute with the other drivers insurance, pay $1000 deductible to get the car fixed, or I can pay $250.00 deductible for uninsured motorists if he doesn't have insurance. So much for STATE FARM having my back. I give them 40 years and they give me a hard time... makes total sense right?

I was hit by a driver insured by state farm over a month ago they admit 100% fault but they still haven't settled so I'm having to turn in on my collision just to get my vehicle fixed properly let them pay my company tired of dealing with them

1 of their employees, also State Farm insured, of course, hits me as pedestrian 'cause he turned his head looking for a house and veered into me standing in gutter..no sidewalks... 'til he passed, and I get stuck paying all my medical bills. Court in ''Bubba land'' MS...yes they fought it and I wasn't allowed to say what he said when he stopped and got out of car, that he worked for State Farm, admitting he was at fault..wasn't looking..etc; then lies under oath. I wasn't allowed to mention he worked for State Farm then he gets to state where he works!! Bubba land court!! 1 of jurors actually was dozing/ sleeping during testimony!! They stink to high heavens all way around. Get a quote from Geico or Liberty Mutual. Sorry this happened. Hope she's OK.😘

I have been with State Farm since before I got my official drivers license and always valued the service I got. This past few months have been rough -- I was T-boned twice by two young men only a few weeks between each other. In the second accident (t-bone so clearly not my fault and state farm agrees) I spoke to a claims agent beforehand to ensure I was covered in the rental. I was told it was basically replacing my car at that point and assuming I wasn't at fault I wouldn't need any other insure. The claims manager even recommended against getting the additional rental insurance and let me know State Farm would not reimburse it. So now I get a call asking me to pay my deductible and $300 in fees so $1300 for an accident that is not my fault and that is not in my car! I am told I need to pay this because it's like my car and so I have to pay a deductible, however my uninsured motorist coverage does not apply because it is not my car?? So basically it's a total double standard-- the rules change when it's convenient. And I am expected to pay 1300$ when I am not at fault and when it's not my car?? The worse part is all of this could have been avoided if I was given the proper information on the phone! I have tried to escalate this with my agent and the claims manager to no avail-- can someone help? This is not right!

I'm sharing this to my personal page to warn all of friends. Thank god due to horrible service in the past we DID NOT use them for our new home. I highly recommend Brightway Insurance.

My apartment flooded December 22nd because of a sprinkler malfunction. 9 apartments were flooded. I had State Farm. The 8 other tenants had USAA and Geico. Their immediately were put into hotels and received their claim payments within 2 months. Meanwhile I was homeless for 2 weeks with an unhelpful agent, had to get a lawyer, am now on my 7th agent, 7 months after the fact, 4 weeks past the last deadline I was given to have my claim paid, and unable to get a call back from my agent or representative who is reviewing my claim items. Maybe social media and the department of insurance can get me a response since this bad faith company can’t do their contractually obligated job.

Been a happy State Farm customer for almost 30 years. Then I found out that almost 30 years doesn't mean crap to State Farm. My 25 year old truck broke down three times in two years, that last two requiring multiple tows since my mechanic was closed. Well five uses of the road side assistance in two year was just too much I guess. They dropped my RSA and I can't get it back for three years. Even though I have a brand new truck. "Oh the underwriters..blaa blaa blaa..." Let me also add that in that nearly 30 years, I have one other claim from 23 years ago. That's it.
