Workshop Description
Enter deep relaxation as you are guided through Yoga Nidra "Conscious Sleep". Simply lay comfortably on your back or seated, and you will be guided through varying breathing, body awareness and relaxation techniques to progressively enter a deeply relaxed awareness. In this meditative state, it is easy to disengage from negative mental talk and detach from unconscious habit patterns that may be limiting your life. While in this relaxed state you may choose to receive Reiki, an ancient energetic healing technique used to balance your energy, opening any emotional or spiritual energetic blocks. Seal the experience and wash away that which no longer serves you through the beautiful healing sounds of crystal singing bowls to restore your body, mind and spirit bringing a renewed sense of self. There will be time to share heartfelt insights and experiences to close the experience.

Please join us as we welcome back celebrated instructor, Dr. Lena Kushnir, for her restorative six week series, "Decrease Stress and Increase Focus with Mindful Practices".

The course, which begins Monday, October 23 from 7-8 p.m., invites guests to pause, breathe, and be present. Dr. Kushnir will focus on the fundamental principles and practices of living mindfully and with intention. Each session, detailed below, will teach students how to use mindfulness as a healing tool to help manage stress, increase focus, enhance emotional regulation, and improve communication and interpersonal skills.

During each class, Dr. Kushnir will guide students through key concepts and practices in a supportive and encouraging environment while sharing how to apply these practices to your daily life. Students who took her winter course experience an average decrease in perceived stress of 36% and an average increase in being aware in the present moment of 15%.

The series is $250 and areas of focus include:

She has lead tons of trainings in the Cleveland area and is ready to spread her wings and take this show on the road.
