Don’t bank here! They have exuberant unfair fees. My neighborhood bank 1st required me to have an account to make change for my business. 2nd After establishing a min $1,000 account just to make change at no charge, they increased the minimum balance and rather than the local friendly tellers notifying us personally each time we came in (we r in a super small town), they didn’t say a word. 3rd months later my account dwindled down to about half because of the fees imposed to make change. I guess that was their dirty way of making money and securing their local jobs. #HighwayRobbery #UnfairFees

Closing my account with your fraudulent, manipulative, dishonest and unprofessional company.

Been with PNC for 13 years and closing my account due to TERRIBLE customer service; attitude I got from one of their employees was "too bad so sad" rather than offering any remedy to my issue

Do not get a auto loan with them unless you want harassed 24/7 and double payment taken out of your account that took over a month to get back. WORST FINANCIAL COMPANY EVER.

I have banked with PNC for many years and have always had courteous help at their local branch and no issues with their online site. Their money market rate is one of the better ones in today’s banking. I give them 5 stars. I’m sorry to hear these negative comments and it appears that PNC is reaching out to them. And No, I don’t work for them!

PNC is terrible!!! I have asked to open an account at two local branches two days in a row now, and each time have been sent away because there have been no bankers on staff! I guess PNC really isn’t interested in opening new business! Maybe Chase or BMO Harris would be interested in taking my money because PNC certainly isn’t!

Dont get a Smart Access account when you get hacked they will tell you it's a normal spending pattern when you live in Georgetown and the theft occurs in New Albany

Your website is BS when trying to make a damn payment. I had to call the stupid SpeedPay automated thing but can only make a minimum payment. Also charges $7 to pay over the phone? Please sell my mortgage to another bank with a better website.

PNC’s computers withdrew mortgage payments twice by mistake and the money still has not been returned to my family. Thieves.

I try to go online and cannot view my check that I deposit

Normally, great customer service. I would know because I was a former employee who worked as a CSR front facing. However, the past 3 experiences I have had with the call center have been unacceptable. My credit card statement closing date is the 6th of each month. Minimum payment due is the 5th of the following month. I made a payment on January 10th, from my PNC checking account, for my February 5th due date. The payment was successfully withdrawn from my checking account on January 11th, and showed it posted to my credit card account. However, I still showed my minimum balance due for February. I called in and was assured this was a "glitch" and not to worry as my payment had clearly been made. And the systems should update before my close of next cycle. A few days prior to close, I logged on and noticed it still had not been updated. I called in again, and was reassured that my payment has posted and not to worry. The rep also assured me that notes were on my account, in the event that there would be an issue. As expected, I logged in to view my March minimum due amount. Double the size of February, and a late payment posted. I called in to credit card services and was given an automated messaged that there was an attempt to collect a debt on my account and that I may be unable to use my card further until the debt was paid!!!! Upon speaking to a rep, she once again confirmed that my payment was visibly made for my last statement and that PNC was aware there were glitches to hundreds of accounts, but the reps "were told it would resolve on its own." 2 calls, I tried to stay ahead of this "glitch" and avoid this situation. Now, my Amazon subscriptions have been delayed because my credit card is unable to be used until resolved, this has put a complete inconvenience in my life, and I don't feel that I can trust my own bank to do right by the customer. The rep that I spoke to this morning let me know that they had to escalate my case and I, myself, would need to call back TUESDAY to see if it has been resolved on their end. At this point, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Brandon from Kalamazoo assisted me and said that unfortunately this was NOT the glitch that other accounts were having, and that he has NEVER seen this occur on any other account. Additonally, this should have been escalated on the 1st and 2nd calls I made previously, go figure. I now won't be able to accrue the proper points that I would have for my orders that were being placed through Amazon on my card this weekend, and have to update all my payment inform as to avoid any late fees with retailers I have automatic payments set through. Brandon told me that their escalations team will call me back no later than Tuesday and address all issues and have this resolved. A great amount of my trust has been lost at this point, and I am not sure it can be regained back. I will wait until Tuesday to see if I can use my card again, and have the charges removed, due to an error completely out of control.... the ball was definitely dropped, PNC.

Second week in a row our paycheck has been delayed on direct deposit. Normally goes in at 11:45P- 12A every Thursday night. What is going on?

If you apply for a Home Equity Line of Credit or Loan from PNC make sure you get your rate and closing costs in writing. They tell you one thing on the phone (unrecorded personal cell phones) and at the closing it is another much higher amount. At the closing you have been in process for 3 or 4 months a hard credit inquiry has been done so you really have no choice but to take the loan at the rate and closing costs. PNC management "investigates" for months, finds that nothing was done incorrectly. It's curious to say the least!

How bout you fix the one time access code generator for the ATM?? Aint paying for services that dont work. Bye PNC hello M&T!

After readling all the comments on this page if I was someone thinking about opening a new account at your bank, I wouldn't get within a 1000 feet of your bank!!!!

What gives? Had bills paid today and were showing as pending and now they aren't showing as posted or pending and money is added back to my account. Also state tax refund was sent to bank 2/8 today and nothing even showing as pending for it.

I have been with PNC bank for over twenty years and I have not had any sort of issues. They have always been very courteous and if I noticed any sort of discrepancies, they took care of them immediately. The Bellefonte PA branch that I typically deal with, has always went above and beyond to answer any questions that I may have. As always, I become apprehensive when new employees come on board at the local branches but they always work very hard to put their local customers at ease and make a point to know your name when you walk through the door. That's very impressive and personalized. Don't ever lose that PNC, this is one of the things that sets you way above the rest!

So when someone puts an ach through your account that has been revoked..do anyone realize it takes 10-45 days for them to handle the dispute? You can’t walk in a branch and talk to a manager like the days of National City. They don’t take your proof of revocation of automatic withdrawal paperwork. They have an escalation team that branch managers are not apart of the team. I have plenty proof of this conversation over on twitter! So I said to myself why do I stay with a bank that cares only about their shareholders and not low to middle income people? Why can’t I walk into the bank and get something unauthorized resolved ? Spare me the private message you because you still don’t care.

I was with National City Bank before PNC bought NCB in Ohio. I've been a 20 year loyal customer. I was happy to see PNC in Atlanta when I moved from Ohio to Atlanta. I was happy that I did not have to find a new bank. Thanks PNC. Hopefully after I buy a business I can create a business banking relationship as well. Keep up the good work!

Held for 20 minutes as the customer rep got an attitude and said she would transfer me and really hung up. Can someone that knows how you calculate your interest payments contact me....cause I'm not getting the rate I was promised

I love PNC bank. If you need assistance all you have to do is access your online banking on your mobile, select help and request a call back, they will call you back, easy and convenient. So happy I been banking with pnc for years.

After reading all the comments on this site, I will be going back to Suncoast Credit Union, all I've had is screw ups at your bank, you tell me one think, the customer service phone reps tell you something else so you don't know who is lying to you, wait till Tuesday, you are going to get an ear full,, I can't close my personal accounts till my next direct depoist goes through on 3/1 then they will be closed, but I can close my business account, sign you pissed off customer, and I will tell the hundreds of customers in this area how you suck!

Worked with not 1 or 2 escalation associates but 4 and none of them helped kept directing me to some random government website over $100 transaction...13 years as a loyal customer and $100 destroyed our relationship; please take me off of your promotion list I don't want ANY PNC products

I have had nothing but problems! how is it possible to cash a check on a holiday that was originally returned and then as soon as I deposit cash for my Christmas shopping , it takes my full deposit and yet I can deposit almost 700 bucks on a Saturday and have to wait till Tuesday for my own hard earned money and because a check I wrote out was deposited not even cashed but deposited you charge me 36.oo than 1.47 charged that didn't post until 2days later after Again I had enough then to cover it but checks collided a bit and bam 36.00 1 day continue 7.00 each tranaction that it affected! I hate this bank! you pray on the hardship lower and middle class! bunch of crooks! I have accumulated 3 times the amount you call over draft protection! I call it kick em when there down! I refuse to pay ! sue me! Im switching banks and I know my small voice means crap! but it sure feels good to bash you! insensitive theifs!!! don't bank with them ! you'll see! I'm goung back to my small town savings bank! its worth the extra travel time

Sat on hold for 20 minutes on who knows what departments line, because the automated system wasn't able to understand any of my responses. Just for the call to drop. If you think messaging them on here is better, don't bother. They don't even have an automated response so when you send the message you have no indication of how long it will take for them to respond, if at all.

Your bank uses bait and switch on your Promo;s, wait three months, then tell you you have to wait to receive tthe promo for another 90 days, what crap is this, I want be doing my business, or any personal banking much longer with your bank that dosen't tell the turth, better read the fine print, like dealing with used car salesman, will be going back to my Suncoast account, I know I want get screwed, if your hunting for a bank I wouldn't pick this one!!!!!!!
