Thank you for IL Attorney General Lisa Madigan and Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl for helping us celebrate CPAH's newly renovated 5 unit building in Evanston. The project was partially the result of a grant funded by the National Foreclosure Settlement and awarded by the office of IL Attorney General Lisa Madigan to CPAH, along with Brinshore Development and other partners, to develop at least 10 units of affordable housing in an area of west Evanston that was hit particularly hard by the foreclosure crisis.

The National Foreclosure Settlement was the result of a lawsuit filed by Attorney General Madigan and other Attorneys General against the nation's five largest banks regarding allegations of fraudulent practices while servicing loans of struggling homeowners. In addition, the City of Evanston provided grant funding.

We are so excited for the 5 resident families moving in this weekend! Welcome to the CPAH family!
